JO's Favorite Categories is an extension for Joomla that allows you to view articles from one or more categories. It facilitates the presentation of specific content on a Joomla site by grouping and displaying articles according to user-defined criteria.
The extension was maintained by http://www.joomlahill.com This is apparently no longer the case.
I renamed the extension mod_featcats => mod_jofavcats
Main features:
- Display of articles from one or more selected categories.
- Ability to customize the presentation of articles.
- Simple integration into Joomla pages via a specific module.
Note:
This module is designed to work with Joomla 4 or 5 and allows flexible management of the display of articles according to several categories, making it a useful tool for organizing and highlighting specific content on a Joomla site.
I maintain the source code on Github/mod_jofavcats which is made compatible Joomla 5.x
